Denver Springs Offers Specialized Treatment for Military and Veterans

Denver Springs’ focus is on treatment for mental illness and addiction. The facility is open 24/7 and can serve in crisis situations. A complementary psycho-social assessment is provided for each potential client to determine if treatment is necessary. Intake can take place in-person or by phone. Both in-patient and out-patient options are available. Counseling services can be offered by psychiatrists who can manage medications, if necessary. Treatment is available for ages 12+ (a separate brochure is attached for the adolescent treatment options). They accept TRICARE, Medicaid, Medicare, as well as most other forms of insurance. For those without insurance, a payment plan or reduced cost will be considered. The website is excellent and contains more information: www.denversprings.com.

Denise Montaño coordinates educational briefings in the community on many topics: CBT, Trauma, Wellness, etc. If a unit/FRG is interested in an educational briefing, don’t hesitate to contact her to see if she can provide an instructor.
