1.   MSEP Partner LinkedIn Discussion Series

On Thursday, Thursday, May 3rd at 12 noon ET, military spouses are invited to visit the MSEP Spouse Group on LinkedIn to:

  • Connect with key human resource professionals and hiring managers from an organization of the Military Spouse Employment Partnership.
  • Discover new employment resources and services.
  • Ask questions and get feedback.
  • Network with other military spouses and share employment experiences.

MSEP employer, Medical Temporaries, Inc., will be featured during the discussion on May 3rd.

Remember that to join the LinkedIn discussions, participants will first need to have a LinkedIn profile and request approval to join the MSEP Spouse Group by clicking on the same link presented above. Once approved, members can join all group discussions hosted by the MSEP Spouse Group.(Note that the link works better using Chrome versus Internet Explorer.)

2.   Ask the Expert Chat: Showcasing Your Skills and Abilities to Fill Employment Gaps.

Military spouses are invited to connect with SECO Career Coaches during the ‘Ask the Expert: Showcasing Your Skills and Abilities to Fill Employment Gaps’ presentations commencing on Wednesday, May 9th and continuing through Friday, May 11th, 2018. Career Coaches will be available to answer all employment questions and help you emphasize your skills so as to fill gaps in employment in your resume. Save the dates to join the conversations between May 9th and 11th to come and learn tips from the experts to help you succeed. Registration will open soon!

3.   MSEP Partner Connect!

Military spouses, come and join us on Thursday, May 17th at 3 p.m. ET for a Facebook Live! event with featured MSEP employer, PatronReps, a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business that employs veterans and military spouses as customer service representatives. This will be a great opportunity for you to ask questions, discover new employment resources and services and communicate with human resource professionals and hiring managers from this organization that is committed to hiring military spouses.

4.   Virtual Military Spouse Symposium (VMSS)

Come and join us from Monday, May 21st to Thursday, May 24th for the 2018 Virtual Military Spouse Symposium. This four-day event will feature more than 15 sessions designed to provide military spouses with relevant information related to career development, entrepreneurship, personal branding, military family well-being, employer connections, and more.

You are also invited to go live with a Career Coach who will discuss what you can expect from the ‘Virtual Military Spouse Symposium’ on Thursday, May 10th from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. ET. Kindly visit and mark yourself “going” to get reminders about this event.
