Bray Cares Foundation Grant Funding Opportunity
The Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF) in partnership with the Bray Cares Foundation is pleased to announce a new grant opportunity to address housing related needs in our community. The Bray Cares Foundation application process will open on August 1, 2019 and funding is available to organizations that operate within Mesa County to provide support for housing-related needs.
Grant funding will target projects that:
- • provide emergency shelter and/or rent assistance
- • offer affordable housing, housing for people living with special needs
- • provide services to help seniors stay in their homes
- • assist Veterans with housing needs
Criteria: Eligible organizations must be a qualified 501 (c) (3), public school or tax-exempt public service agency providing services within Mesa County. Organizations should also be registered with the Colorado Secretary of State and be in good standing.
Grant requests should range from $500 to $5,000.
Grant requests should be submitted via WCCF’s website http://wc-cf.org/nonprofits/grantmaking/ and the deadline to apply is September 16, 2019, 5pm MST. Grants Available for Organizations Serving Veterans
Mesa and Delta County organizations encouraged to apply
August 19, 2019, Grand Junction, CO – The Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF) is pleased to announce a new grant opportunity through the Trutta Fund to Support Veterans. The grant application process opened August 15, 2019 and organizations must be a qualified 501 (c) (3), public school or tax-exempt public service agency providing services within Mesa and/or Delta County
The Trutta Fund was established by a local donor to support organizations that serve veterans and their families. The name of the fund is in honor of the USS Trutta SS 421, the submarine that the donor served on in the early 1960’s and it is a way to support and give back to those that served.
Grant requests should be submitted via WCCF’s website http://wc-cf.org/nonprofits/grantmaking/ and the deadline to apply is September 26, 2019, 5pm MST.
The Western Colorado Community Foundation serves seven counties in western Colorado, including Ouray, managing charitable funds for community good. Currently, the Community Foundation manages over 265 charitable funds totaling $80 million in assets and awards over $3.4 million in grants and scholarships annually.
