Colorado Workforce Centers
Workforce Centers provide a variety of free services to assist employers and job seekers. These include job listings, computer and internet access, and career counseling and training. Veterans receive additional support with their job search.
Eligibility: Anyone can utilize the services at county Workforce Centers. Veterans recieve priority of service in all federally funded programs at the workforce center. If applicable in order to qualify for the Disabled Veterans’ Outreach Progam (DVOP), the Veteran must first meet with an employment specialist at the workforce center. If appropriate, intensive services for Veterans with significant barriers to employment will be provided.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve is a Department of Defense program that develops and promotes supportive work environments for Service Members in the Reserve Components through outreach, recognition, and educational opportunities that increase awareness of applicable laws and resolves employment conflicts between the Service Members and their employers.
Eligibility: All employers, all uniformed Service Members, and Families of affected Service Members.

Hire Heroes USA
At Hire Heroes USA, we help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses secure meaningful employment. We are committed to providing one-on-one personalized support and dedicated guidance to those we serve, helping them build successful careers no matter where they start or where they’re headed. Services include Career Coaching, Resume Writing, Mock Interviews, and Mentoring.
Eligibility: Available to U.S. military members, veterans, and military spouses for free.

Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP)

This is an employment focused competitive grant program of the Department of Labor, Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL-VETS), the only federal grant to focus exclusively on competitive employment for homeless veterans. HVRP has two core objectives, which are to provide services to assist in reintegrating homeless veterans into meaningful employment within the labor force and to stimulate the development of effective service delivery systems that will address the complex problems facing homeless veterans.
Eligibility: HVRP serves three different categories of veteran populations:
Homeless female veterans and veterans with children
Incarcerated veterans
Homeless veterans.
Currently, Colorado has 2 grant recipients who can receive referrals:  The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (Denver) & Hire Heroes USA (Colorado Springs).

Military Spouse Jobs

Military Spouse Jobs helps Military Spouses and Dependents overcome hiring obstacles through specialized job placement, retention, and career progression support tailored to individual needs. We offer comprehensive career education and train-to-hire programs to sharpen skills, strengthen resumes, and advance careers through self-paced, industry-specific training geared for direct job placement. Our RecruiterConnect Program links candidates directly to employer partners and their recruiters, who hire globally across all industries and experience levels. RecruiterConnect Specialists provide high-touch services to both employers and candidates to make job placement success a reality.

Eligibility: Military Spouses and Dependents for free.
