Goodwill of Colorado is launching a Clean Technology Accelerator (GCTA) Program, and their first cohort begins on July 7, 2025. This initiative offers FREE paid training and certification for individuals seeking to become EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) technicians.

They’re currently hiring for two key roles:

  • Vocational Instructor
  • Career Case Manager (Navigator)

The GCTA is a workforce development program launched by Goodwill Industries International. It bridges the gap between job seekers and the rapidly growing clean energy sector, offering participants incredible career opportunities.

Key Program Highlights:

  • Training Focus: Multi-week, certification-based courses for entry-level clean energy roles, including EVSE technician, solar installation, and HVAC/heat pump installation.
  • Accessibility: Open to all job seekers, regardless of educational background. Stipends are provided to support participants during training.
  • Job Placement: Graduates receive assistance in finding competitive-wage jobs with growth potential in the clean energy industry.
  • Expansion: Currently running in cities like Atlanta, Houston, Nashville, and Detroit, with plans to reach 20 cities in the next seven years.

The GCTA is committed to removing employment barriers, accelerating access to clean energy careers, and supporting the growth of the industry.
