The VA Caregiver Support Program is excited to announce that our 2022 Caregiver Summit and Resource Fair is scheduled for Friday, June 24 from 10am-2pm at Holistic Therapeutic Equine Center in Black Forest, Colorado (just north of Colorado Springs).  The first half of the event will be the Resource Fair, attended by Veterans and Caregivers.  The Summit will be held during the second half of the event, attended by VA staff and community stakeholders.  This will be an *in-person* event in an outdoor setting, with most programming taking place in a large, sheltered arena.  Any COVID 19 safety precautions recommended at the time of the event will be observed.  The day’s agenda will include a tour of HTEC, equine therapy demonstrations for Veterans and Caregivers, educational presentations from CMSWS Programs, a wide variety of informational tables hosted by VA Programs and local community partners, and Veteran-owned food trucks for lunch.  Our theme this year is “Suicide Prevention: Care for Caregivers and Veterans.”  Veterans and Caregivers do not need to be enrolled in the Caregiver Support Program to attend.  RSVPs are not required to attend, but we kindly request RSVPs to ensure that we have adequate facilities and supplies for all attendees.    ECHCSCaregiverSupport@va.gov      #(720)723-3013
