EANGUS, through it’s We Care for America Foundation, is offering Phase 2 of giving out grants to National Guard members, officers and enlisted, who are in financial need. (Phase 1 was in May 2020). Through another very generous donation from USAA, EANGUS is able to offer these grants. Grants will be capped at $500, and are intended to assist with basic household necessities such as rent, utilities, food, etc.
Please see attached documents. One of the documents speaks to the grants. The other document is the verification form that must be filled out by National Guard leaders to verify the need. Without the verification form, the application will not be favorably considered.
The application website, https://eangus-wcfa.org/covid-19-application/ will open at 6:00 pm Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. The 6pm opening will allow everyone, from the U.S. Virgin Islands to Guam, to be awake and able to apply without disenfranchising anyone.
